    Red light ⛽ on display

    I'm new to jetski life never been around them I spent 200 bucks on a polaris sl780 got it cranked it runs but won't go past 4200 rpm or 27 KM the red light blinks on my display an says fuel so I seen the float could be stuck what wire is it to unplug just for a little bit I hear a gray o e but never seen this gray wire mine is a 96 model

    You can unplug the whole MFD to test if it runs OK without limp mode.

    If you don't want to fix the sending unit you can put an appropriately sized resistor across the wiring to fake out the MFD.

    Even simpler than that. If the Pink wire from the fuel level sender is disconnected from the terminal board inside the electrical box then the MFD display will not show a fuel level indication and will not trigger the Low Fuel warning.

    The 33 ohm resistor method also works by forcing the display to show a full Fuel level.

    Either method will prevent the Low Fuel warning from occurring.

    Alow fuel light won't limit the rpm though... at least not on any of my domestic triples. There might be another issue

    It does on some of the 96 models.
