Seat cover for 1999 XLL 1200

Ok I am looking at getting some seat covers for my 99 XLL1200. I see that there are different material you can use in different locations on the seat. From experience what is the best configuration of materials to use to really be connected to the ski?

Do you prefer to have grippy material on top and something like suede on the side so that grips your Butt and it is soft on the knee or the opposite because you might use your knees to hold on...

Any suggestion appreciated. I noticed that while riding I then to focus a lot of my weight on my legs and kind of luft over the seat (learned this from mountain biking...)

Also have you guys ever heard of re-using Hydroturf Mats? I might end up painting the whole ski but have a nice set of mats on it.
