You wouldn't want to just tap your! Unless you have a pre 08 one.

This thing works great, I highly recommend it! Way easier than tapping your ex manifold, however depending on what waterbox setup you are running it may or may not work for you. Was designed for people running their exhaust out of the stock location. If you are running straight out the back chances are it won't fit.

SORRY IT DOES NOT FIT CORRECTLY, without modification!!
Period. In order for it to work correctly you need to cut you exhaust bell off or drill through it in the area the O2 sensor is above. as the Extension puts the O2 sensor wright above the bell and 100 percent you don't get correct reading until you cut it off or drill a big hole in the O2 sensor area.

I've heard that before so had it set up both ways to see for sure and I found the readings on my machine were exactly the same, even changed the o2 sensor to make sure and they were the same and they were, it just needs to sniff the air. The plugs and egt's confirmed my findings as well.......
    To each their own.......
