Tethering a Garmin Etrex
Does anyone'e tether their Garmin... I have a Ram mount and use it but, just in case IF it were to fall out or forced out... How and where do you tether it... I looked and all I see on the back of the Garmin is the battery door/wire (whatcha ma call it) to attach the tether to... What if the force pulled the door off? Garmin gone!! It does not float anyway.
Does anyone have a good tethering way to attach?
BTW: I would be using my Go Pro tether strings and sticky backs.
Any thoughts or ideas?
Thanks
DG
