VT11 8650 cold start issue
Hey guys, since I changed my injectors and flash the VT11 8650rpm tune I have a ruff start issue when engine is cold... It sounds very ruff and it shake like it's knocking a lot... Ill try to catch a video later to help... Does someone had the same ruff start issue with this tune?
Ho, and after a second or two, it's running great at 1700rpm steady and the rest is very good, since everything is tuned with the datalogger!
Thanks!

Base fuel is 58psi... I'll change the plugs... They did a couple run before I realized my intercooler was throwing water in my engine
so... Plugs are a good start...

I want to say that I noticed that also. I run the VT11 8350 Tune. I will confirm it this weekend. Prior to the install, it would fire up and lock in on 1700 RPM right away. I want to say now on a cold start it was at 1600 then moved to 1700 after a few short seconds. Or it was north of 1700 and came down. But I will confirm tomorrow afternoon (California Time). My plugs were changed at 98 hours (Complete Oil Change Service) in May. I am at 113 hours now.
I will say this...unless you are looking for it, then most people will not notice the start of the motor. Where I launch from normally, I have to idle for about 2 to 3 minutes to get out of the no wake zone. By then, my motor is ready. I normally ride it for 2 minutes after that at maybe 75% throttle at the most. Then I ride it like a stole it. That is my normal playbook.
When I used to race, I wanted a cold motor so I can have no heat soak for that holeshot.

I'll check plugs today... But I'm sure it was OK prior to VT11 tune/injectors... And it's only for a second or two when I crank the engine... Too much fuel/too rich when starting? I'll make a log and post here later!
