Welcome to the forums. It all depends on your style of riding.

Thanks for the reply Ricky! I I've heard that seadoos are the most reliable ski out there due to the closed loop cooling they have

Welcome aboard, Waterypig!
From what I've seen, SeaDoo is, without a doubt, the LEAST reliable PWC on the market. They are always the first to bring a new feature to market, then let their customers do their testing for them.
Yamahas are the most popular with rental companies. Very reliable, low maintenance. Problems with their NanoXcel hulls coming apart.
Kawasaki seems to be slow about introducing new things, but they usually get it right--notable exception--the Ultra 250 was a dismal failure and a lot of people will never buy another Kawasaki after that. Kawasaki fit & finish is usually very good.

Is $2600 a fair price?
2001 Seadoo GTX RFI ($2600)
2-place Spartan trailer included with new bunk boards
Fuel injection for easy starts and reliability
New battery and cover
Oil injected
Digital gauges
Reverse and neutral
Seats 3 people and has the power to wakeboard, waterski, or tube behind.
Everything works except for the speedometer.
No rips or tears in seats, mechanically in great condition
Wisconsin registration until 2018.
Ready for the water!

Id have to disagree with you on seadoo being the most unreliable jetski. My cousin has had a gti se 130 since buying it new in 06 and its never broken, the ones that are not reliable are probably the 2 stroke and the supercharged ones, my uncle and cousin both have the 08 rxt 255 and they both broke same year, same time. I have no clue why, but they broke. My cousin fixed it about a month ago and he took it to the water and the supercharger blew. So along as it's not supercharged or 2 stroke, it'll be a reliable one if it's maintnanced properly

Waterypig, I have seen a lot more seadoos on "jackstands" than any other manufacture. I love my Kawasaki due to it's handling and comfort. The seadoo is a fun ski as well, very easy to spin. Yamahas I do not have experience with.
