The FZ is the only 2 seater performance ride, right?
On most brands, the 3 seater is what carries through the rough stuff. Having said that, the FZ is only 3 inches shorter than a 2 seater.
Does that mean that the 2 seater cuts through the rougher stuff the same as a 3 seater?
Thanks,
Mark

If you are looking for a good ride, or to "cut through" the rough stuff. The best Yamaha option is the 2012+ FX hulls..

Prob the biggest variable is whether you will mostly have a passenger, or be flying solo. Most all of your choices can do the job, depending on whether you choose to ride standing or more aggressively.
IMO the 12+ FX, a RXT-X, or a 310 Kawi will all do the trick for riding big/hard with a passenger. But the FX is the only one that can be just as fun in the smooth or on the single riding days.

We own a 13 FZS and a 15 RXP-X. The ride of the RXP-X is much better and more forgiven.

I actually made a post today because I spent the day playing with just that... a RXP-X and a 310X. I was REALLY surprised how stable the RPX-X was in the rough water. IMO, one was as stable as the other.

Do you not recommend the FX in the rough?
I want it all...lol, good in chop, I can play on it and has good top end....LOL.

RXP-X will be the most playful/throw-able of the bunch, it's the smallest and lightest, the others are 3 seater.
