I'm hoping someone can give me an idea why my jet ski idles fine but when i accelerate it bags down and won't hardly pull its self and most time dies anyone have any ideas where to start

Mine did that - had weeds clogging the water intake!

Please be careful when comparing similar symptoms from different situations. Weeds clogging the jet pump intake would not cause an engine to quit, merely to rev without providing much thrust from the jet pump.

Even when the symptoms are seemingly exactly the same as some other case, those same symptoms could be caused by different things. Slightly different symptoms could have completely different causes.

There are several possible issues that could cause a Ficht engine to not run properly.

Do you have another machine that you could swap parts with?
