Ride plate bounce at 80
hey guys 09 fzr bouncy bouncy 80 mph fzr:
jims 14 cut plate stock nozzle, talked to jim he said svho 3 degree nozzle will help fix it, already tried shimming rear of plate with .045
question is does a svho nozzle bolt up to my 155 pump?

it works fine no issue. Listen to what jim says, no need to shim rear of the plate put the 2 shims he gives you up front and leave the plate alone. 3 degree makes a huge difference!

Will the 3 degree scrub speed due to more hull in the water?

Had the same issue with Jim's cut on my stock 14 plate. I was shitting too far back. When I sit on the second seat (fzs) and put my chest on the front seat with my head tucked low it goes away.

I believe Jerry did a write up or video about the ride plate and the 3 degree nozzle and that it will be kind that best combo for the skis. But even with a 3 degree nozzle just adjust trim if needed.
