Help 2003 Polaris MSX 140 Stator readings look bad

Two years ago I bought this project in boxes. I have finally finished assembling my boxes of parts and reinstalled the engine into the ski.
The ski fired on one cylinder then died with the odour of electrical smoke.
I checked the fuse holder and 15 amp fuse which was in place for the 2 amp fuse for the display was smoked.
I decided to check the electrical and the crank position sensor reads 310 ohms.
Checked the stator harness and 1 & 12 reads 2 ish volts AC cranking with no plugs
    2&11 reads 2ish volts
    3&10 1.5 volts
    4&9 1.5 volts
    5&8 1.5 volts

Does the stator need to be rebuilt?
It looks like I need a new crank position sensor.

The fuse for the MFI display should never blow. Something is wrong with the wiring, the display, or the battery polarity.

Burned electrical smell is a bad thing. Did the smoke come from the large EMM module?

I did not see the emm smoke. I only smelt smoke. I installed a new 3 amp fuse and the display is working now. I still need to find a 2 amp fuse.
    What should i do next?
The crank sensor read 310 ohms. They are no longer made so I think i should source a replacement from EBAY then go from there.

Certainly it will not run if the CPS sensor is bad.

There may be a CPS available from a parted out Ficht machine in the Classifieds Polaris section here on Greenhulk.

I purchased a new used CPS and installed it.
The MFI display light up when cranking but does not show any RPM.
The fuel pump does not run. The ski does not fire.
Do I need to check the stator and the power to the injectors next?
If the stator is fine then would it be the EMM?

    Thanks for any help.

Do not unplug any fuel injectors. Find a spot to tap into the White/Red wire with red meter probe. Black meter probe to engine ground.

Should have over 20 volts DC when engine is cranking.
