Hi guys I was looking at building a custom exhaust for my fx and was wondering if I deleted the water box it would be bad? I saw a video where a guy deleted it, here's the link to the vid. Thanks

I think posting this in the regular performance 4 stroke forum will get you better responses.
Im sure the exhaust will be loud and I have read it may not improve performance without other mods.

I'd be a little leery of that straight pipe setup. The whole point of the hoses that go up then down it so keep water from flowing into the system and flooding the motor. When you let go of the throttle, you get a good rush of water into the back of the ski.
