Trouble removing drive shaft(solved)

The C-clip is hidden back up under that floating ring/tophat. You have to pull the floating ring back towards the rear of the ski to see the c-clip (and remove it). Best to do it with the pump still in the boat so the shaft doesn't move. I use a homemade tool consisting of a large adjustable wrench, steel pipe handle extension and a socket extension to pull back the tophat.
