    Question Trouble removing drive shaft(solved)

Hey all I need to remove the drive shaft on my 2003 gtx sc. After looking at the schematics I'm having trouble finding the little c clip. Also after removing that will I be able to pull the shaft out? Here's a pic of my drive shaftClick image for larger version.

The C-clip is hidden back up under that floating ring/tophat. You have to pull the floating ring back towards the rear of the ski to see the c-clip (and remove it). Best to do it with the pump still in the boat so the shaft doesn't move. I use a homemade tool consisting of a large adjustable wrench, steel pipe handle extension and a socket extension to pull back the tophat.
