    Clutch replacement

My riding buddy just blew the clutch in his 2010 FZS. We upgraded to the 2013 clutch almost 2 years ago, so it has the different idler gear. What is the latest and greatest version of the clutch that he should buy?

I might have to look into this. I just blew my clutch yesterday....previous owner had it installed at the end of summer 2013, only put 1 hour on it last summer. I bought it with around 75 hours and it went yesterday at 89 hours. I've read a bit in here that the C3 wheel is hard on clutches bc it's heavier letting off the throttle eats at the clutch...I might look into switching to a ETLB...

Your 2013 idler gear is fine. It will work with the 2014+ clutch.

not to jack the thread, but I have a 2009 FX SHO. Would the 2014+ SVHO clutch be a direct swap or would I need to upgrade the idler gear too? And if so, which one? Thanks ahead of time
