98 STX 900 ride plate mod
Hello all,
I have a 98 Kawasaki STX 900, and have read many posts on here about ride plate modifications. Was wondering if anyone could explain in detail, how to go about doing this, and what the theory is behind it. I understand it will give you more mph gain, but are there any sacrifices?
Thanks,
Brad

Stxr plate or an r&d plate would be your best bet, but you will lose tbe reverse with the stxr plate

Yes and the design channels the water and gets the nose of the ski out of the water alittle. I have that plate on my stxr and like it alot. Best place would be find used, but that could be a hard task. Ebay will prob be your best bet
