Saw a guy riding one a few weeks ago at my local park. Looked like it would be fun for about 15-20 minutes. I definately would not sell any other toys to buy one.

Seems like it would be a blast hanging around the dock listening to music drinking beer

Gotta wait until its more affordable, prices right now are insane.

I don't own one myself, but my friend is our regional distributor\rental guy. I did it for my second time last Friday. It's an absolute blast. This year since I was familiar with it, I was able to get right up without a lot of hitting the water like my first time last year. I attempted a bunch of "dolphin dives" last week. I did more belly\thigh flops than actual dives, but it was so damn fun I kept trying. I've got some pretty nice bruises on my thighs to show for my efforts. lol I would love to get a set up, but I'm having a hard time convincing the wife it's worth the 6 grand, and I also don't want to have to remove the IBR from my Sea Doo to hook it up, and the wife's ski is only 130 HP where they recommend 150HP+ for flying.

Did you have someone on the ski doing the throttle or did you have the remote?

The person on the ski handles the throttle for liability purposes since he "rents" it out to people for individual and group flights.

There is a company out on the outer banks that will teach you to fly. Might be a good way to try it .

I assume you had to take off your IBR to use the jetblade?
