Blown away with FZR SVHO Performance....

Just thought i would share my findings while testing the new yamaha platform (2015 FZR SVHO).
Our test craft is a Dead stock Fzr with 30 odd hours on it on a quality gps it runs 68.9-69.3mph all day long with a nice aggressive pull from bottom end all the way through to top end.
I installed the new Rapidcams/Haltech Elite 1500 plug and play with the rapidcams stock base map did a reset on the electronic throttle and hit the water.
While slowly moving away from the beach and tapping the throttle you could tell the engine felt so much diffrent once out of the restricted area i stated to get on the throttle and was gobsmacked at the speed of the craft climbing through the mid range to the top end as i looked down to the gps i saw 77.
I got off the throttle and reset my max speed on the gps then climbed into it again this time staying on the gas across the bay i looked back at the gps to see the speed at 78.2
Now as a hard out seadoo man i can tell you it takes a bit to get a gain of 10mph but to do this on the yamaha with just a aftermarket ecu and no tuning congrats to yamaha.
over the next few weeks we will be installing air filter, ribbon delete and impeller as well as fine tuning his ign and fuel maps im thinking we will quite easily see 84/85 mph so we will share our findings.

    Stock fuel pressure?

You forgot to mention some of the other great things about haltech (ill admit im a haltech fan boy) unlimited and free data logging, add your own gps for free, flex fuel ready, anti lag FREE, etc etc. Sure you motec fans cant all send your maps to nills so he can fix them for you but for the guy who knows what hes doing this ecu it the business

    Hi Mike,
Yes stock as the box it came from no changes at all except removing one ecu and installing another!
Also the new Elite has short term/long term tuning trims on the Ign and fuel maps working in the back ground always self tuning including knock!
    Stock fuel pressure ,stock injectors.

I'll have an elite on my ski probably by next week.. Did you guys have to alter any of the pinouts on the patch harness or was it a straight plug an play deal like the 09-14 FZR's?

Hey OP can i get a link for the ECU?

Edit: found it, do you know if they can sell the adapter harness by itself or is the adapter harness something that haltech supplies?

If you want one either PM me or goto http://www.rapidcams.net/#!product/p...-plug-and-play
or have a look at www.rapidcams.net
I can sell the adaptor harness but what are you going to run this on as we have designed it to run with the elite 1500/2500 series ecu.

I've used haltech on supras a lot and love it! User friendly and easy to use. Best part is most tuners are familiar with the software
