throw it in with the stock spacer and go from there. or ask Jim because I think he recommends you how many shims on all his cut ride plates.

FYI your 15' plate is better then the r&d plate. I have it on my ski and I bounce like a dolphin lol. your stock plate is better then the r&d plate I have a svho plate on order. going to sell my r&d plate

Not what jim told me, he just told me the "stock plate will handle better" when i asked him both plates cut which is faster, i then asked him something else and he never responded so... I doubt he'll respond about the shim question.

From what jim told my friend who was the one who did this was that the r&d should be slightly faster. Have had two guys locally with the stock svho plate cut by jim tell me the same thing about the bounce i guess its how you set it up.

I got a PM from jim saying the best all around plate is the SVHO modded plate and since he says that. I would go with that. I have a buddy that has the SVHO modded plate and he says he bounces in flat water on the plate but did ride better in the ocean then stock sv plate. I guess put washer in your plate if it does bounce and go from there. I know when I put the r&d plate with factory spacer my ski jumped like crazy then I put a washer in the back and still bounced so my mechanic insisted I get a svho plate due to the bounce could potential overtime damage the motor. so I put my factory sho plate and waiting for the svho plate.
