Freedom went scuba diving
Went out today an very quickly the hull filled up and I had to tie it up at the side and get a tow off the lifeguard
Doing this on my phone so not sure if the picture works but does anyone know what this rubber bit is from?

You can test for some water sources without putting the hull in the lake. Take the seat off, close the drain plugs. Use a garden hose to add some water inside the hull while monitoring underneath for water coming out.
One common leak location is the seals where the driveshaft comes into the hull. The through-hull bearing assembly can be rebuilt with new seals and new bushings.
Also check all the hoses at the base of the jet pump, left side, inside the hull. The 3/4" hose at the pump base is the main cooling water feed to the engine.
Another area to check is the rubber exhaust hoses and clamps at the hull exhaust fitting and nearby exhaust resonator.
Do not overfill the hull with the garden hose and do not allow water to splash into the engine air intake (flame arrestor).
I have a Polaris Virage TXi (same hull as Freedom) here at the moment which had a completely worn out through-hull bearing. This would have been a huge water leak into the hull, no idea why it had not sunk. Hmm, maybe it has been sunk before I got to working on it
There are supposed to be two sintered brass bushings pressed inside, they are completely gone and the housing is worn egg shaped. Not rebuildable.
