    problems

Newbie here hoping to pick everyone brain.

I have a 20008 sea doo 230 wake that will not start. I had battery check at auto store under load. I installed battery with both ground leads on ground added positive to positive then flipped the main switch for power. I then plugged in my DESS and it immediately beep once and again and again continuously. I also noticed a buzzing sound near the solenoid and fuse box. The rpm gage showed 2500 rpm(no motors running) I pressed starter switches and nothing.

I have check every fuse looked for corrosion and everything appears fine. It ran great last year and no problems winterizing.

Did you look at the two main fuse that come off the starter relays?

At both solenoids for both engines. I have had something very close to what your describing and it was a bad contact on one of the main fuse holders.

Another thing you can do. I have had this happen also. The two plugs going in to the fuse block (x2). May have some corrosion or not getting a good contact.

I will unplug them and see if that helps. I was also told to let the boat sit without battery attached to let the electronics reset. Not sure if this works but worth a try.

Fixed!!!!! Ended up having 2 additional ground cables not attached to the battery. When the mechanic unhooked the battery 2 of the cables(4 total) slid down under motor where i didn't see them.I hooked all four up and the motors started right up.

Thank you for the suggestions. Great to have people trying to help each other out!!!!!
