R&D Auto Trim Kit
Anyone have any experience with the R&D Auto Trim Kit? Shibby and i were talking about it earlier wondering if it would fit a GTX or RXT.

auto-trim nozzle, skat adjustable venturi, SS wear ring, SOLAS, billet oil bath pump cone, bearing mods.... i need to hit lotto just to pay off pump parts!
this auto-trim device has my attention tho. i'm leaping out of the water with my couch. Sucks not have a VTS. i guess when u holeshot the ski this auto-nozzle drops down so the ski doesn't get unhokoed, then spring loaded straightens out at top speed?

We also need to find out how possible it is to retrofit the VTS to a GTX/RXT.

well this auto-trim nozzle i believe eliminates the electronic VTS... it's all automatic with this R&D piece... adding VTS in a 3-seater will NOT be an easy task... and not worth the money to me. those parts are EXPENSIVE!

I would think that the R&D auto trim would be a waste for a rec rider. It's designed for those racing on a bouy course. When the handle bars are turned sharply, the auto trim drops the nozzle down so you can hang into a tight turn. It will do nothing for hole shot with the bars in a straight ahead position.

What effect do you think the regular R&D extended nozzle would do? Handling improvements over stock nozzle, but any possibilities with improving top end?

The nozzle should be an improvement, it works wonders on Ultras. Handling and turning improve and a alight speed gain is possible....BUT, I'm not sure if it will fit an RXT, they advertise it for the RXP....actually I don't see why it wouldn't fit, same pump, without a trim system...both have reverse....so it should fit !!?
