    Mounting Catch Can...

    Where do all you wonderful folks mount your catch can, i don't want mine to look all gaudy mounted somewhere.

    Trying to get some ideas.

    most use the front of the exhaust manifold using two of its bolts to mount it

    were ever you mount it,make sure the inlet sits above the valve cover....

    Planned on mounting higher. Is interesting to know why it must be above valve cover, when usually feeds back into intake that's lower?

    you want it to basically releave the blow pressue without draining your oil...With it mounted lower than the motor the blow by could push your oil out..BRP did this for emmisions..IF you look at an OEM hose you can see it curves up above the valve cover befor it runs down..

    Good to know. I almost thought about plumbing it back into the intake.

    so it is only important, that the hose are going first up over the valve cover level and then I can go down to
    somewhere at the IBR area? - only theoretical !!
