Kinda bummed
2015 fzs 32hrs with a motor build date of 6/14 and hull has a 9/14 sticker on it
My paints pealing, transom has a steady drip, hasnt snapped a chain yet so i got that going for me! But shit ive only made 1 payment so far hahaha
Guess i get to learn how to reseal the transom (lucky theres a nice write up). Paint can wait till the off season.

That isn't something a warranty would cover?

The paint in the foot wells is "bubbling up" on my 2015 FZS. You can feel it under your fingers. Yamaha didn't do a good job with paint prep or paint quality.

Too many threads like this over here these days . . . Yamaha quality is not what it once was! Paint is paint; that's not a big deal. But if you are having Hull integrity issues @ 32 hours that is not a good sign; that may not be easy to fix.
And don't even talk about that Timing Chain . . . don't jinx itJB

Yea it all is. Paint will be taken care of in the off season. Question is do i want to leave it at thethe dealer for 2 weeks for the transom (probably more my local dealer is VERY hard to work with) if i can do it myself in a couple hours? Sure im not exactly thrilled about that but summer dont last forever!
Anyone know if theres any reason NOT to use that same "amazing casting resin" to fill the transom void? Threads i saw were a little older and everyone was using the 3m epoxy at that time. Figured the casting resin would be just as good and cost is minimal
