    Yes...

You'd also need a suitable prop upgrade..
    - With the associated electrical box and ancillaries it'll drop straight in there..
    - You might need to use a 760 waterbox also.?

Be a very good upgrade indeed.
    - I toyed with the idea of a hot 65U motor in a purple hull..

I saw yesterday a mounting kit for the wave blaster to mount 65U. Wonder if it would work for the raider too///

    Yes it would..

There are a couple of companies that make the conversion plates to adapt to the two cylinder mount holes.
    - For sure the later raiders came with both mounting options already installed in the hull..

I'm not certain what the setup is on the 1994 purple hulls.??
    - (It may also already be set up for a triple cylinder motor)

The reason I only considered the idea was, I had the chance of a hull with a blown motor a good while ago.
    - Unfortunately It was just a little too for away to go collect it.

Anyway, at 150kg all up, they're only slightly heavier than a blaster 1.
    - Then figure it, with a hot 65u would put that to about 170-175kg (maybe less)
    - Pushing it to 170+ hp puts you around 1000bhp per ton..!!!

    Mental performance Guaranteed.....
