Blew hole in water box
So some hot chick sucked up some debris on my spark. Clogged the intake and she proceeded to hammer on the throttle. Took out the wear ring, overheated the exhaust, melted the exhaust temp sensor, and literally blew a hole out the water box, just in front of where the exhaust exits the engine.
It looks like there was some kind of shield in the inside of the waterbox there. Think I can just weld a patch onto the waterbox? Anyone have a used one to sell me?

I have had one patch welded with a thicker piece of plate in that area, & it worked fine.
U will just have to fix the cooling issues first.

I got 3 waterbox'es sitting here at home that you could have.
But the catch is, I'm 10,000 miles from you

Unfortunately, dude wanted 300 for the used, stock water box. My budget was like 30 bucks plus shipping. I'm going to weld it up.
I'll get pics next time....

make her pay for it, or take it out in trade. I've always liked the 'lay-away' plan...
got pics yet? don't make me post random guesses...
