Fixing engine alignment shim qty?
I need to tweak engine alignment on my RXP so I need to buy some shims.
They are like $10 a piece up here in Canada, wtf, so I'm wondering how many I should order. I know sbt sells a pack of them for $22 but shipping ends up over $31 so savings get destroyed.
What's a good guess as to how many I should order?
Here is a pic of my misaligned new carbon seal.

include a new motor mount kit
they get soft and flimsy or broken with age
and is most likely why its out of alignment
every ski is different so thats why there is a "shim kit"

I would install the Rhass mounts on there. but don't get upset if the carbon seal alignment doesn't get much better, most of the time the pump shoes are way off from the factory.

It has to be leaking water the way it is, there's a slight gap on one side and after riding I could see a small wet spot on that side. Maybe I just need to shift the engine to the side a bit, without the need for shims, to get it squared with the seal.

Are these shims made out of titanium to justify the cost?
Wouldn't just cutting some thin metal to shape perform just as well? Would just need a picture of the shim head on to create a template.

I would check the alignment first and see where it is at. I had to remove 2 up front and add 2 in the rear both sides.
You may purchase what you don't need!
