Happened a few times today when I was at idle to low speed have it some throttle up on plane let off throttle and it still was accelerating. Very strange kinda scary and almost pulled my rip cord haha. Thoughts ?? Thanks Len.

thats because you turned the steering, its called off the throttle steering so as you still have propulsion to control the ski. kept in a straightline it wont do it.

its a safety feature built into the ski.

Think this is the water filling the waterbox making back pressure and rpms spike and blow it out n goes back to normal .? Correct me if I'm wrong. But I think it's normal..

That makes perfect sense. Yes it did go back to normal. Never happened again.

I've seen the steering safety system kick in on my Kawasakis even when on the trailer while flushing. That's probably what it was, and as stated above normal. Keep the handlebars straight to alleviate the issue while doing the flush..

Only time I'm side by side is when I let her eat haha. Way to much respect for this machine. I can feel in my hinny how wrong things can go in a matter of seconds. Wish everyone else was like that but sad some don't. We usually take turns being retards for a few seconds just it goon around a bit. Safety first thanks for the responses. Now on to read some more on some performance tips for some positive gains. Big ups
