    LB2Cat

    Greetings,
I am at work. Which sucks today as I should have been in Long Beach instead. Love my job though. Lucky to be employed.
From what I hear Kawasaki Ultra's killed it again today. Craig Warner (again) on World Record time of around 51 minutes and Mark Gerner 30 seconds behind.

I'm sure someone will post up full results later. Don't know what happened to Klipper as he has a smokin' fast Yamaha and it was flat.

"Passed him shortly after the turn boat and lead most of the way back till a 4.00 hose clamp broke on the main fuel filler line and ran out of gas"
Mike Klippenstein posted this on FB earlier today.

It happens. One year Mr. Mark Gerner was winning the race. He had about 2 miles to go. Hose/clamp cut loose and he lost to another Kawi, Tom Phan. Felt really badly for him.
Klipper Has a very fast boat and is a very fast rider. One day he or someone (Hey Dean's Team where you at?) may break the Kawi stranglehold on one of those Turbo Yamaha's when conditions are like todays.
Kawi again swept podium. Flat a day as you can have.

Bravo to Mike Klippenstein for coming all the way from Canada to race.
Aussie Christian & K-Speed guy's had to pass this year as they are competing in Jet Racer in Vladivostok this year and had to ship their travelling race ski to Russia.

I don't know if the FZ hull can win in any significant chop. No matter how fast I make my FZ, it wants to skip across the chop unloading the pump frequently, while my Kawasaki cuts through it and pulls away.

However, on glass or very light chop.....game over Kawasaki.

It was a pretty smooth race from what I hear.
