Water hook up for Polaris SL 659

Can anyone send me a picture of exactly where I hook up a water hose to a 94 Polaris SL 650. My first jet ski and I'm tired of taking it to the lake everytime I need to test something .
I am also aware of the start , water on .... Water off , stop.

Looks like I fat fingered the title, obviously its supposed to be 650 and not 659!

It's at the brass plug on the water rail that runs along to top of the cylinder. The 1" plug opposite the temp. sensor plug.

Correct, that's what I have used in the past.
Better wait until K447 replies though.

There are several threads within the site about this, specifying that you should connect the water, and run is slow before you start the motor, and then you can increase the water flow after the motor is running.

Yes, but keep in mind the ski will behave MUCH differently in the water than out..... Without load on the motor, you really won't be able to tell much.....

There is really no reason to run these on a hose unless you ride salt water.

Only reason I want to hook it up to the hose is because I was on it last weekend and it ran fine until the end of the day when it would start and idle fine and I could give it some throttle but as soon as I go about half throttle it would bog out, ...let off the throttle and it would seem fine. Shortly before it started doing this I started to hear a loud whistling noise coming from the jet ski as I was riding it. So now I'm poking around the carbs, fuel lines, wires...and stuff. I just don't want to haul it to the lake to test it.

Running the engine out of the water with no load on it will tell you nothing unfortunately. You need the impeller load on the motor to know if it is running properly or not.
