since Riva no longer offers their 08+ waterbox I had to use TDR. I purchased 3 waterbox's, 2 brand new from TDR and 1 lightly used one. All 3 of them broke the weld in the same place and almost sunk the skis. 1 brand new waterbox leaked water from a weld that wasn't good enough.

I have been using a TDR for over 2 years and last week while on vacation the front weld split. Thank God both of my bilge pumps kicked on immediately and I had a tow valve installed. $25 later it was welded back up much stronger and I was back riding with out any issues.

The front weld is not strong enough as shipped and is too thin. I have also heard from several guys this is a very common problem with the TDR WB. It is a simple fix but is unacceptable to have to take it to a welder and reinforce the damn thing!

I was prepared for this of incident. This could have potentially been a major hull loss for someone else.
