08 rxt bearing in the motor went how much will this cost ?.?

Hey guys anyone know how much I'm looking at and how long does it take to do something like this ? Located in Long Island ny and who can do the work ?

is block stuffed? what bearing?

I don't know my mechanic started it it ran fine but has a lot of clanking going on in the motor

You won't get an accurate quote unless you take it apart to find out the source and cause of the noise. The only thing you can do at this point is assume the worst, which is $2K on the low end (for parts only) to $4K (for new short block including install)
