    Did something dumb...

Tried adding gas to my 2015 FX, the snout locks and you have to twist and push down to get gas flowing. Not a good setup in this case. With the snout in the gas tank, kept trying to push and twist, got it to work 1 time but it leaked like crazy. Tried it again and the snout broke off and fell in the gas tank, it is about a 6" long piece. Took a chance and went riding, didn't have any problems. When I was finished went to the gas station and see if I can fill it up and get the piece to float up through the filler neck. No luck. Got it home and put a flash light to the tank, didn't see it so it probably doesn't float and its at the bottom of the tank. I don't think it should cause me any problems. What do you guys think?

Haha! You're not the only guy to do something dumb, I did exactly the same thing on the exact same waverunner as you have. Same color and everything. I haven't removed it yet. I've put about 6 hours on it since the nozzle fell in and haven't have any problems yet. It's been at the dock for about 3 weeks so when I pull it this weekend, I'll try to get it out. If you go here http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...ght=gas+nozzle, you'll find my thread about this and there's some tips on getting to it.

No more safety cans for me! I will probably switch to something like a VP jug.

The fuel pump comes out fairly easy if I remember correctly. Leaving a good size hole to fit your arm in

It probably won't cause you a problem being in there but throw those cans out and invest in a few fuel jugs. They are the best. They empty fast, don't spill and are usually clear so you can see the fuel.
