SOLD CA: 2001 GP1200R, 2004 GP1300R, w/trailer, built by WC Porting
SOLD... NO LONGER AVAILABLE
It's a sad day, and I need to sell the two coolest things I have ever owned. But practicality has reared it's ugly head, family wants a boat, and I only have enough garage space for one or the other.
Up for sale are my two GPRs. A 2001 GP1200R and a 2004 GP1300R. Both have been worked on extensively by Kevin at WC Porting. Details are below.
2004 GP1300R:
- 85 total hours, about fifteen hours on complete rebuild
- Riva 1200 grate
- Riva D-plate and chip
- OEM head milled to 150psi
- Ported and polished by Kevin at WC Porting
- Trued and welded crank
- Ross Nemo 43mm Throttle Bodies with custom velocity stacks (these were damn pricey)
- PET Tiny Tach
- Yamaha HO Pump milled to fit
- Dynafly impeller pitched at 17/24 at the moment
- Jims FF Plate
- Riva Blue Pipe
- Jetworks Mod
- Leo's Holeshot Kit
- VF3 Carbon Fiber Reed Valves
- Rive EFI Controller
- PPK
- 3 Degree Keyway
- Pump Tunnel Reinforcement
- Stepped factory sponsons
- Converted to premix
This GPR will run 81-85mph depending on rider weight and fuel load (I'm 270lbs and I can get to 81.1 mph at about 7180rpm). It's midrange hit is HARD. I have yet to find anything on any lake around me that can keep up. One boat left me at the top end, but only after he took half the lake to catch up to me (and it was a $150,000 laveycraft with a $50,000 engine).
Next, my 2001 GP1200R
- 107 total hours, about 10 hours since rebuild
- Riva 1200 Grate
- Carbs rebuilt by o-side Bill
- Riva FAs
- PPK
- Pump tunnel reinforcement
- Wave Eater Clips
- D-Plate and Chip
- Trued and Welded Crank
- King Bearings
- Stepped factory sponsons
- converted to premix
- carb primer kit installed
This GP1200R was completely rebuilt with new EVERYTHING. It's basically a brand new GPR from a mechanical standpoint. It will run about 68-71mph depending on rider weight and fuel load. This is the fun, practical GPR. You can ride it two up all day long, spin donuts, do whatever... it'll take it.
Cosmetic condition on both skis is in the "good" range. No hull damage, just some dock scuffs, and the CF numbers and factory decals are showing signs of wear and tear. Mats on both skis are functional, but have a few little rips here and there. Both seats are a little faded, but no tears. These GPRs are ALWAYS stored indoors, ALWAYS properly winterized, and I care for them like they'r my children.
Included in the sale is the shoreland'r double ski trailer, two lifejackets, three fuel jugs, two dock ropes.
I am asking $10,000.00 obo for the set. I'd prefer to not split them up, but I will entertain offers. No trades please, I already have the replacement boat (2015 Yamaha 212x).
Text me at 916-468-8446, or email abeabt@gmail.com for more information. I have more pics, receipts, anything you need.Last edited by abe; 07-24-2015 at 01:32 PM.
