Thumbs up Look at WSM platinum Pistons, for anyone looking to rebuild pics

Just received my WSM platinum piston kit for my ski today. Had to do a rebuild on the top end and did a little research. Read ups and downs about every brand piston that is offered. For a fact I know just being into performance things cars boats motorcycles etc. you will have your opinions and they will vary. I happen to find a company that gave me an excellent deal on a complete top end kit for my ski so I went with it. I have yet to actually mic the Pistons myself but overall the Pistons are well-made, the coating on the skirts seem to be very nice. The gasket and o ring kit also seems to be pretty decent. So hopefully I will see how it does here in about a week once I get my cylinders back from the machinist. Just figured I would share if anybody was in the market for new pistons on a semi stock ski.. Will keep it posted

Many of us have used the WSM kits with good success. I have WSM in all of my motors that I have rebuilt, including my new Matrix motor that will be spinning 7400-7500 RPM

My impression is the coating is not meant to last, it is meant to wear and make a smoother surface than if the coating was not applied.
this is only my opinion, I know nothing.
