    Wastegate Solenoid Valve Vacume Lines

2004 r12x......I removed my wastegate solenoid valve to replace it and forgot which line goes to the turbo. Anyone know which line is the pressure hose going to the turbo? I THINK its the line furthest away from the electrical connector and the line closer is the relief hose. Thanks in advance!

I don't think it matters, cuz the solenoid either lets air pass or doesn't. But I'm a newbie.

Thanks for the reply Annie. You could be right. Im going to try it tomorrow. If it doesn't t boost up the way I have it I'll switch them. No harm no foul. Just thought if anyone knew the proper way they went I could save myself the hassle.

Might also mention that they are not vacuum hoses, they are pressure hoses. When the solenoid opens the valve, some of the pressure that would otherwise open the waste gate leaves it closed for a bit, permitting a brief overboost to get up on a plane qucker. It simply vents into the intake air, upstream of the turbo.
