PWC Grip Donuts?
I've only been at this for 15 hours on the new ski, so forgive the newbie questions...but I am already getting some blisters/scraped skin that looks like it was a blister on the thumbs from these short controls butting my hand up to the plastic bars when cranking out some 180s and the like.
I use 'grip donuts' on the dirt bike (and some little finger pads for my 2 clutch/brake fingers), but they aren't going to fit on the ski bars, of course.
Do they sell something to pad up this plastic by the controls or does everyone just wear some 1/2 finger gloves with special padding there?
I'm just manning-up right now, but scraping the exact same spot on my thumb no matter how far out I slide my hand and 1-finger the throttle is getting old already.

Find a tatty old wet-suit and a pair of scissors? ebay perhaps or try a local marine trimmer or something.

Gloves would work. I just don't care to wear gloves. I have one of these.

Why not switch to the ODI with the built-in flange.
I happen to have an extra set I could send you with the required adapters.

They have relief for the throttle and zero interference.

I made a donut from an old mouse pad. Roughly 2 3/4" with a 3/4 center hole. It does feel better. Will know for sure tomorrow when I go out. This wouldn't be a problem if the throttle lever was slightly longer. I'm a 2 finger rider and by force of habit I find myself choking the grip down low.
