Have I found enough broken Cat Con pieces to reassemble ski (with D-plate of course)?
See pix GP1200R 2000. fixing a friends ski. Found the usual, broken catalytic converter. Hopefully enough.
Stock ski, we would prefer to not try to get the waterbox out. Felt in by are on waterbox and it was clear of any cat remnants.
Not worried about a 1mph or 2 top end. Just want a basic runner. Have spent way too much time on ski already. (Carbs, dplate, servo motor, wrong gauge, bad battery....)
What to expect if small pieces are impeding flow? Thoughts.
This is what I found in the stinger. Basically, if it acts up- fine I'll go deeper...would prefer not to put a hole in a piston. My boroscope is 2 hrs away.
Thanks!
