    Help Identifying Aftermarket Pump - '97 GP1200

Can anybody help identify this pump from a '97 GP1200? It is a 12 vane stainless, looks to be non-setback. I know a few different people made these, just not sure exactly what I have here. It is currently in the ski, so I can't tell much more than shown here.

Probably a Skat Magnum. What's your plan with it?

I just picked up the GP1200 with this, waiting on some parts to test it out. For now I want to see what this thing will do!

Sweet. I think you lucked out on that. I've been trying to get my hands on one of those. So if you ever plan on selling the ski in the future let me get dibs on that vane first lol.

Any other mods that ski has? How much did you pick that one up for?

I'll keep that in mind! Never know, I may end up swapping it out eventually to recoup some $$

I think you'll be quite pleased with your GP1200. And also if it hasn't been done to your ski yet, do all the trim tab mods and such as yours is a 97' and is prone to porpoise quite a bit. You've probably already have read some of the top most recommended mods for our GP's here.

    EDIT:

Oh yes. VERY NICE. You did good scoring that gem. Specially with all those mods for 1900. I'm jelous.

Thanks! Reason it was so cheap is due to the guy buying a new 4 stroke, and this had to be put back together after a new starter put in. I'm currently waiting on a new stator, and trying to figure out how the cooling hoses should be routed.

    I'd agree with this..

    I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's a D75 148mm pump.?
    - particularly going by some of the other parts fitted to this ski (from your other thread)
    - Looks very much like it was a closed course ski..

I Would be interested to see some more detailed images of the ski..
    - stuff like., the underside of the hull, the entire rear section, In the rear where the battery lives, some shots of the engine bay.

You seem to have came across a very nice ski here.
    - Have you done a compression check on it yet.?

Cooling hoses should be relatively simple. The hoses themselves would already has that "memory" in them to where they should go so it wouldn't be too bad to figure that out.

BUT in any case, if you need help with the stock cooling system (or anything) to where they should go, let me know and I'll take pictures of mine and would be able to assist you. I actually have just restored mine. Yes, I said RESTORED. I basically had to do everything on it, paint, complete engine rebuild, carbs,etc... you name it, I most likely have done it. So I am actually quite familiar with this machine now.
