It looks like some sort of strainer / filter. Maybe someone can chime in to to help with where it is supposed to go.

I think it's a weighted fuel intake, or a "clunk". keeps your intake line at the very bottom of the tank. The 92'- 95's just had fuel line in the tank, not the solid aluminum drop tube style found on later skis.

does not feel like a clunk, although my cap for all the lines only has 2 possibilitys for venting 1 is a stub hose the other has nothing

Its a vent check valve, goes on the stub hose.

That doesn't look like the exact proper fuel hose to be using inside the tank. You might want to get some hose rated for continuous fuel submersion or at least put in brand new hose and check it periodically for swelling/rot.

Thanks for that. Got any idea's where I could find submersible fuel line. I just rebuilt the top end on this ski (burnt piston) I seen the black fuel line and replaced it with the same oops.
