    310X burning oil?

My 2015 310x went though 2 quarts of Oil on a 100 mile ride over the weekend. It has 32 hours on it. No oil in the bilge and no blue smoke or loss of power, ran perfect. My 300x never burned a drop after 265 hours? Is there something I should check?

yes recheck the levels, i dont believe they burn oil. they are prone to give inconsistant readings

My readings have always been inconsistent for whatever reason. I know mine doesn't burn oil but it's hard to get an accurate reading. I have to let it sit for a while with the stick in the motor. Try and do it while the ski is in the water too

Always check the Oil Level 3 times on this Ski, the first reading is ALWAYS false. And make sure the Ski is as level as possible.

The Ski is not burning oil. JB

Kinda weird... I checked the oil on my 310 in the garage and oil was not on the stick at all. I cranked it and let it idle for a minute, shut it down and rechecked about 2 minutes later. It then showed full. Makes no sense.

the stick gets an airlock or oil shows to high seeping up the stick, place a spirit level on the rocker cover in the garage and check over a few days. it works this way for me lets everything settle.
the more times you check in one go the harder it is as oil is now contaminated up the tube.

I checked and recheck. Hot/cold, in water, on the dock, on the trailer leveled the motor. I added 2 quarts and it is still not past full?

was it ever correct to begin with, before you assume its burning oil i would suck it out and refill with the correct amount then keep an eye on it.

Yes it was correct after 10 hour service. I check the oil every time I ride.
Wasn't til 27 hours that I noticed it dropping

Hey guys, any chance that oil is going into the air intake and intercooler? I thought Kaw fixed that with an updated oil catch can....
