Sealant on Pump Cone
While inspecting the pump on my stx15, I noticed there is no seal on the backside of the pump. Just curious why there is no sealant between the stator housing and the pump outlet nozzle. I would imagine this would let pressure escape reducing efficiency. Is there any benefit to sealing this, or is it by design to let some of the pressure escape?
