97 speedster motor issue ??

Just rebuilt one motor - ran great for a short while - 1/2 hour - now runs like crap - 150 psi - seems like it is out of time? Other motor runs great - swapped coils - no change - is it possible that the mpem can cause an issue with one motor and not the other ?

otherwise I think I have a crank seal issue - starts really hard - runs rough in the middle - seems to be backfiring somewhat

I would appreciate any help

took motor out - the rotary valve gear is slipping - so fuel timing was going all over.
