Difficulty w/downloading client software

Hello all, I'm having difficulty downloading the client software for my vtech, and am wondering if anyone else has had similar issues?
I know I can't use my macbook, so I've tried two other people's computers w/o success…it's indicating that the software has downloaded, but I cant' see anything when I try to open it…I feel like I'm missing something simple, but even when following a direct link from vtech I'm coming up with nothing…
Any thoughts, besides sell my tuner and credit ?

make sure you update the tuner before you start.

2 files to update before you get files.
there is also a 'request' that the tuner makes to your ecu, before you can d/l a tune

install as administrator may help you but as raceneked said two files one is the usb driver but you should see the Maptuner icon on the desktop anyway

I've tried to open as an administrator, but haven't noticed the option to install as one…I literally cannot see/open the software that the computer says was downloaded

click the install file Right click then you will get a menu to run as administrator but you need admin password or just make sure your ID is admin enabled
