    310 2nd water box delete ?

an old trick on the 250 was to buy a stainless steel elbow pipe and eliminate one of the water boxes to save weight, haven't seen or heard of anybody doing that with the 310s ?

Riva has a free flow that does that. I put one on mine. It was a pain in the balls. But sounds good. Don't feel any gains though.

Im sure you could do this yourself with pipe and couplers and not have to mess with the bs outlet they give you w the kit.

I would leave the 2nd Waterbox in there . . . it has a balancing effect on the Ski. JB

they moved the trim motor to the starboard side to help balance out the ski, there is no need for that 2nd water box whatsoever, in fact i would bet its causing more damage with all the extra moisture left in the system compared to the 300 with only 1 water box.... they did it to stop all the whining about the 300s being tippy to the left. not to mention the 310 is much more cramped to work on inside with the redesigned catch can, extra water box and plumbing.

The plugs on 250s with 2 water boxes and no exhaust filter would last maybe 25 hrs. the 300 plugs lasted 100,,,,, now there are reports of the 310 skis fouling plugs and having studders,,,,, sound like the old 250 plug problems cropping up...

A reeeal dual exhaust would have a T split at the start of the drop pipe from the exhaust manifold then into 2 water boxes then out the back, similar to cars with with twin manifolds, mufflers , tailpipes..

Thought a PWC performace shop in Denmark had a custom 300 dual exhaust but it was an extra rear outlet for show.
