Question about heat exchanger???
Anyone have a heat exchanger go bad? I am assuming this would cause the ski hull to fill with water. What I do know is it was not much fun swiming my half sunk spark back to the dock today... I could not believe it....How else could that amount of water get into my ski hull???????

There's lots of other ways that water could get in their. Pump seals, steering cable seal, IBR seal, drain plug seal, intake grate seal. Lots, did you see any water dripping when you pulled it out of the water?

I'm with cormac's how are you so certain it is that part. my buddies ski sank but wasn't that turned out to be part of the steering
Easy way to tell is when your hull is full of water pull it out leave drain plug in and see where water is pouring out from that's what we did.

Sounds like you melted the exhaust elbow if you had water pouring out of it...Or the hose popped off

The intermediate housing will probably take more like 10 pumps. Do it nice...
