    ECM update?

I was at the dealer the other day with my RXT only to have the VTS function activated(still waiting on an RXP venturi and nozzle before the VTS is fully functional) but I feel like maybe they did an ECM update too. Is there such thing?

When I took it out today it ran better than it ever has. My gauge cluster reached 8100rpm/70mph and held there, any other time I'd be lucky if it reached any higher than 7900rpm/63mph. My boost gauge also read just over 7psi rather than the usual 6psi..

Is it possible they did something else to it and decided not to tell me?

Yes updates are released and applied when hooked up to BUDs.

Thanks for the reply! What would be the reason for the update? If anything I would think the update would be to make it more fuel efficient/slow it down, not faster.. Not that I'm complaining. I can now pass up my buddies identical RXT.

can be anything.. even timing changes, fuel changes.. Anything that makes your engine run better will give you more rpm and that will give you more boost and power. so any update that makes your engine run smother and more efficient will be better off in the long run. only thing they wouldnt change is the rev limiter.. over reving an engine will effect its longevity so a dealer would never touch that.
