2014 RXT Damage on pump shoe after rope injestion.
A guy got some rope in his pump.
Burned a hole in the resonator which he replaced himself.
But next time out he says he didnt get any thrust. Just prop spin.
I thought he might have taken the splines on the shaft or in the prop but they looked fine.
What I found was this:
Serious damage to the shoe. An open hole some 40% of the circle. And a worn wear ring.
Ski has just 11hours on it :/
Guess I have to send him to a proper shop to replace the shoe?
