2004 RXP Slow top speed, vibrations and cavitations

This summer I bought a 2004 RXP with 115 hours. Ran good the first day and Supercharger bearing failed second day. Replaced Supercharger with a new 2015 RXPX 260 type and added 42 injectors.

    Before Supercharger replacement:
    1. Slow top speed around 59-60MPH
    2. Revving to 8200RPM
    3. Minor vibrations, cavitations
    After Supercharger replacement:
    1. Slow top speed around 62 MPH
    2. Revving to 8300RPM
    3. Major vibrations at 7500-8300 RPM
    4. Very slow coming out of water
    5. Will hit rev limiter within before it reaches 20MPH

I checked impeller wear ring and seems to be the same as my other RXP. Impeller seems good too.

What should I change next? I was thinking carbon seal. What are your thoughts?

    Thank you in advance.

I hope you did some kind of motor cleanup if any part of whatever failed in the SC has gone missing.

Forgot to mention. No missing parts from SC. Bearing locked and SC stopped the engine.

    Thanks for the tip.

I checked grate and pump. It is all clean. Shark fins on housing support are shaved off, but I read this is ok. Not sure if this is causing any issues.

check all your engine mounts, make sure they are tight...could be a loose shaft destroying your carbon seal, which would give you those symptoms, bad cavitation at take off the lowered top speed. ( I just got done doing the carbon seal in mine lol ) ride it with the seat off and see if its flinging water from the shaft.

any prop or stator damage?..what's the wear ring clearance looking like?

as long as the shark fins were ground smooth..its ok.

I'd pay attention to the prob, this ski had ingestion previous and maybe the prop has damage not easily noticed.
