    310r with only 10-12 boost. SC Belt slip???

    Hey guys.

    I have another post about my ski. But came to no answer. So was wondering if anyone knows why my ski will only run 10 to 12 pounds max. Is it possible SC Belt slipping. Ran my finger over the belt and had a slight black film. I did how ever spray a fair bit of inox (not directly on the belt) in there. But it's only 26 hours old. Getting 108KPH And 7560 Rpm. When I should be getting 8100 rpm and 117kph. As I've had the ecu tune done. Any help will be greatly appreciated.😊

    That's wierd, that's perfect stock speed and rpm. Like the ECU change is gone or? Did it ever do more than that with the modded ECU?

    Mine is doing the same thing. One day, was on the river. The engine was turning 7900 rpm at near 70 mph upstream. I have SCOM only for speed mods.

    Then, I heard the supercharger make a weird noise. After that, the engine would not turn more than 7500 rpm at 65 mph at only 12 PSI showing on the digital display. I've seen 14-15 PSI on it before. I assumed it was a bad seal on the wastegate I had removed, tightened, then reinstalled. Had a friend make a block off plate for it, but haven't had the chance to test again.

    I also cleaned the belt to make sure it wasn't engine fogging oil over spray causing belt slip.

    the belt tensioner pivot point seizes and causes belt slip and eventually breakages, its been explained many times how to check it and regrease it

    Hey Shore, i did all mods, such as pump wedge, deep fuel pickup, block off plate (was on before) and i removed relief valve and replaced with HKS SQV. That made it stall so put standard relief valve back on (i pulled this apart trying to utilise the bracket, didnt work at all, put it back on).

    I havent felt the ECU difference at all. but i got ECU Checked in another 310R and did 121kph at 8260. (he had prop also.)

    How the hell would the fogging spray make it to the belt? Lol you spray it in the little port and it goes in the back of the blower.

    how tight should the belt be? Is it possible to feel the tension with the cover on?

    I just checked my belt and it's tight. I would liken it to a harley drivebelt. Little deflection but mostly firm.
