    I control rxtx on e85

I want to try e85 on my 12 rxtx, I have an upgraded fuel pump, riva fuel controller, vtech tuned and 1100cc Injectors, with an aero motive wideband, what other supporting mods might I need and what tunes are available and work best with it

You need to increase fuel and timing. I suggest you leave it alone unless you're a tuner and proficient. I don't think V-Tech has a tune for this.

you do not need to add timing but of course you can
Vtech has a few tunes for bosch skis, I have not used any of their e85 tunes

If u dont have experience with e85 then u probably shouldnt run it. You will really only need it if your hogh comp or running over 22 psi. Running it on a sc boat will yield 0 gains due to the sc available for our skis. Plus it will only run best with a stand alone. Imo

it does not take a brain surgeon to use corn juice
I have 2 ski running it on custom vtech tunes
and there are some good gains when you crank up the timing
higher compression and more boost is where the ethanol shines and pump junk cant keep up
dont forget most places e85 is about $1 a gal cheaper than pump premium

Don't forget you use more of it than pump premium too, though.

So many people are misinformed about e85, you will gain hp on NA or boosted motors, it's safer, cooler Temps, higher octane, virtually zero knock, did I mention it's SAFER!
I run e85 in every performance vehicle I own, my turbo car picked up 46 wheel hp just changing fuels and adjusting the fuel table to support the fuel swap, no more timing or boost. E85 is a wonderful thing and can produce amazing results in the right hands.

    I would never use e85 for a race ski/car
first even if you use the expensive e85 (comes in 5gal can and cost at least $5gal) which is always mixed the same
where the pump fuel % can change every time the station fills their tanks
its still only 100-110 octane no where close to like a c16, q16 or vp import fuels
I have ran 25psi on high octaine (custom blended) and could not run close to the same timing I used on c16
e85 is corrosive to aluminum so its not the perfect fuel, but its cheap high octane fun fuel

E85 is rated at 100 octane but has cooling properties of 130 octane. Much more safer then any race gas. Yes it does not like aluminum gas tanks but high octane leaded race fuel is way more damaging to a engine then e85. Also race fuel fowls plugs too. I have many friends running 50 psi on there cars and we have plenty of skis running 30-40psi on tested pump e85. Keep in mind if u live in primarily cold climates then e85 wont be consistant from pump so opinions will vary. At the end of the day a person should only run what they feel comfortable with and have knowledge about.

e85 is fairly accessible in my area, and since I have all the supporting mods it seems like it's some cheap and safe horsepower, Bust since it seems not to many people have ran it on the newer skis I'll ask vtech about it
