2016 kawi rumors ????????????????????

so whats the deal for 2016 as far as rumors go ? was going to trade my 2011 300x for a 2015 310x and several people told me to hold off until the 2016s are announced. If kawi was developing a 1.8L for the ultra platform i'm sure we would have heard something about it no ? what does everyone think ?

Kawasaki is very secretive with new models until their release date like all the other brands. They want to sell 2015s too, and announcing(or even leaking) next year brings 350hp would make people hold out for 2016. This may be why not many people are talking about it.
Not saying it is for sure, though. After all, They are just rumors. The only people who really know for sure are kawi insiders.

I would be surprised if they made any big changes. They are not known for big changes in their watercraft lineup. An engine size change would be a pretty big deal overall. I hope I'm wrong though. That line up needs some diversity from the bottom end model up to the top end unit. They also need to adopt some of the technology from the ultra 310s to the non supercharged models.

what kawi shold be doing is extremely simple and the results will be astonishing.

that is stick the 310 engine in the stx hull (stx 310) , 80mph right out the box capable with insane accel, and agility.
so kawi please , yo have the monster in your hands , unleash it .

I asked myself the same question,,,,, what is there to improve at this point. While it wont be any faster stock, i guess an extra 40hp would have the potential for an even better hole shot, and theoretically faster top end, maybe capable of 77-78mph with just a scom
